There’s no reincarnation, no heaven, no hell. It’s nothingness. Devoid of experience. I do not know this for sure, but there’s no reason to not think that’s the case. Opting out saves all that effort that goes into trying to just stay in the game. Keeping afloat. A bit of apology to all my heroes. To all that care. I just didn’t have it in me. Some gene, some constellation of neurons that would have steered me in another direction. I just didn’t have it. What I have is this one, deciding it is a very good idea to opt-out.
What’ll I miss? Almost nothing. What’ll I leave behind? Nothing. Pain in a few bodies. But it’ll pass. But again I heard the wound never truly heals. Well, I’m motherfucking hurting, myself. I want that to stop. I’ll try to opt-out.
